MILJANA & MARKO ĐORĐEVIĆ

Piano duo Đorđević perform thogether since 2011. They completed Specialist studies of chamber music at Faculty of Music in Belgrade, under the supervision of professors Dejan Subotić and Jasna Tucović. They have held numerous concerts in Belgrade and all over Serbia.

Miljana Đorđević was born 1987 in Belgrade (Serbia). She graduated and completed Specialist studies at the university of Arts, Faculty of Music in Belgrade under the supervision of professor Dejan Stošić. After that she completed Specialist studies of chamber music. She is the prize-winner of numerous national and international piano competitions. As the best graduate piano student at the Belgrade Faculty of Music she was awarded the “Jelena Pavlović” prize for the academic year 2009.
She has played numerous solo and chamber music recitals in the most significants concert halls in Belgrade (Kolarac Concert Hall, Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, Galery of SANU, Cultural center of Belgrade, Town City Hall…) and in other towns in Serbia. Also she appeared as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Artistic Ensemble of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro ‘’Stanislav Binički’’. She has attended master-classes held by Arbo Valdma, Ronan O’Hora, Ninoslav Živković and Sofya Gulyak. Currently she is working as accompanist at the music school ‘’Mokranjac’’ in Belgrade.

Marko Đorđević graduated piano at the university of Arts, Faculty of Music in Belgrade under the supervision of professors Branko Penčić and Ljiljana Vukelja. After that he completed Specialist studies of chamber music. As soloist and chamber musician he held many concerts in the most important concert halls in Belgrade and across Serbia (Kolarac Concert Hall, Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, Cultural center of Belgrade and many others…). He is currently working as piano professor in music scholl ‘’Mokranjac’’ in Belgrade.
