International Piano Fest

This year, as a part of the Concert season 2014, will be held an International piano fest in Subotica. It will complete the cultural offer within the concert season and will give Subotica another festival of classical music which will be exclusively dedicated to the development of pianism. International Piano Fest will be held from April 7th to April 13th, and this year the festival will be opened by one of the most representative pianists from Italy Daniele Petralia.
Mr. Petralia will present himself to the public of Subotica with his solo concert which will be held in the Great hall of City hall starting at 8 PM.
This concert has a humanitarian character, and all funds raised are intended for Biljana Stojković, a ten-year old girl who suffers from a serious illness.
As a part of the International Piano Fest, Subotica’s audience will have the opportunity to see many pianists presenting themselves, from Japan, Turkey, Georgia, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia, such as Junko Mashima, Tuğrul Adiloğlu, Elisabed Mamradze, Riccardo Insinga, Chiara La Ferla, Tonja Čuić, Fejes Krisztina, Lili Bogdanova, Csőke Noémi, Katarina Dafna, Görög Sisters Piano Duo and Tijana Andrejić.
Daniele Petralia will hold a six-day Masterclass as a part of the International Piano Fest, in which the participants from our country and abroad will expand their musical aspects of playing the piano. The Masterclass will be held at the Music School in Subotica.
