Clara & Marie Becker piano duo (Germany)
Clara & Marie Becker’s ascending international career as piano duo has been met with praise and accolades from both the press and audiences.
Highlights from the most recent season include their debut concert at the “Dresdner Musikfestpiele” 2022, were they had the honor to perform a recital alongside Katia and Marielle Labèque and their recent interpretation of Oliver Messiaen’s “Visions l’Amen” at the “Festival Neue Musik” in Rockenhausen, Germany for which they received widespread acclaim and recognition.
Other highlights of the past season are appearances on German TV (SWR) and an article in the BBC Music Magazine.
Clara and Marie possess a wide ranging repertoire that encompasses music from the baroque to the contemporary eras for one or two pianos. They have been honored to receive the dedication of several newly written compositions.
In addition to recitals and concerts with orchestras in Germany and abroad, the young piano duo regularly receives invitations to important festivals and made its debut in the United States (New York City) in 2019.
Their participation in the live broadcast of “Katia, Marielle and friends” on Radio France as well as the German documentary “Concerto for two pianos: The Making of” have been featured in the media.
Throughout the years, the sisters have participated in numerous masterclasses with acclaimed artists such as the piano duo Hans-Peter & Volker Stenzl, Tami Kanazawa and Yuval Admony as well as Jean-François Heisser and Jean-Frédéric Neuburger.
In 2021 they were laureates of the prestigious Académie Ravel in France.
Clara and Marie studied with Bruno Canino in Florence, and regularly work with Isabelle and Florence Lafitte in Paris.

Tokom godina, dve sestre su učestvovale u brojnim radionicama sa priznatim umetnicima kao što su klavirska dua Hans-Peter i Volker Stenzl, Tami Kanazava i Juval Admoni, i Žan-Fransoa Hajzer i Žan-Frederik Nuburger.
