Closing of the International Piano Fest

On Sunday, April 13th 2014, the 1st International Piano Fest was officially closed with the concert of Tijana AndrejićAt this concert in Subotica, the young pianist introduced her recently released album entitled „Serbian Piano Music,“ which she recorded in 2013 for the German label „Acousence.“ With her solo recital, Tijana presented the body of work of our area’s composers, who created pieces for the piano in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Dejan Despić, Miloje Milojević, Isidora Žebeljan and Marko Tajčević were on the repertoire.

The program of the entire festival, including all concerts and the Master class by Daniele Petralia, really left a great impression on fans of artistic music. About 1,500 people visited the concerts under the International Piano Fest, which enthusiastically brought the artists back several times for an encore.

The audience in Subotica had the opportunity to hear the concerts as the Solo Recital of Daniele Petralia, Musical Kaleidoscope, Do you like Chopin?, Gala Concert of the Masterclass by Daniele Petralia and Serbian Piano Music where artists like Daniele Petralia, Chiara La Ferla and Riccardo Insinga from Italy, Junko Masima from Japan, Elisabed Mamradze from Georgia, Tuğrul Adiloğlu from Turkey, Lili Bogdanova from Bulgaria, Tonja Čuić from Croatia, Fejes Krisztina from Hungary and Csőke Noémi, Lee Katarina Dafna, Görög Sisters Piano Duo and Tijana Andrejić from Serbia have performed.

This response from artists, from all around the world, further encourages us to continue and develop the idea of the International Piano Fest, and we hope that this festival will become a tradition in the cultural offer of the city and the Concert Season of Subotica.
